Paul Larbey - Vice President and General Manager

Paul joined Velocix from Alcatel-Lucent shortly after completion of the acquisition. Prior to Velocix, Paul headed up the Next Generation Mobile Access Unit within Alcatel-Lucent's Wireless Networks Product Division where he was responsible for the management, development and delivery of LTE and WiMAX product lines.

Previously, Paul has held an number of product strategy & offer management, systems engineering and development positions including Vice President W-CDMA Business Development & Strategy and Director of UMTS Portfolio Management for Lucent Technologies' Mobility Solutions Group.

Paul started his career in software development and pre/post Sales Support with Cray Communications and joined Lucent Technologies in 1996 to work on spread spectrum based systems. Paul is based out of Cambridge, UK and holds a first class degree in Electronics from the University of Durham, England.

Richard Gibbs - VP Worldwide Technical & Business Consulting

Richard joined Velocix from Tribold where he held the role of VP World Wide Sales Consulting. In this role he helped deliver initial key customer accounts and support the development of Tribold's new product portfolio management software. Prior to Tribold, Richard held the role of Chief Technology Officer, EMEA for Epiphany.

Previously, Richard has also held various senior managerial roles at Siebel Systems and other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution providers.

Peter Beecroft - VP Product Management

Peter joined Velocix from Alcatel-Lucent immediately after completion of the acquisition. Prior to Velocix, Peter contributed to the strategy group for Internet Protocol Division (IPD) at Alcatel Lucent where he was jointly responsible for the initiative which led to the Acquisition of Velocix.

Since, 2001 Peter has held a number of product strategy, product management, architecture, Technical pre-sales and solution deployment roles at iMagicTV, Alcatel and Alcatel Lucent.

Peter started his career as a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant at a Cambridge based computer company, and has progressed his Telecommunications and Media career through Ionica and BskyB in the UK . Peter is based out of Cambridge, UK

Bob Lindsey - VP Operations

Bob has a long and successful track record in senior operations roles and brings tremendous experience in infrastructure and customer service to Velocix.

Prior to joining Velocix, Bob was CTO and VP Global Operations at Madge, Managing Director at Ionica, and Engineering & Operations Director at Cognito.

Bob has a first class B.Sc (hons) in Computer and Communication Engineering from Essex University.

David Ferguson - Chief Architect

David has overall responsibility for the design and architecture of the Velocix Network.

Prior to joining Velocix David was Principal Consultant at Video Networks and VP Engineering at Zeus Technology and he also held positions with Scientific Generics and Madge Networks. His technical expertise includes ADSL access network design, high performance Unix server software, wireless, LAN switching and network modelling and he is the inventor of two patents in data communications.

David has a MA in Mathematics and Computation from University College, Oxford.
