Tony Illsley - Chairman

Tony was the former CEO of Telewest plc the broadband cable TV/telecoms operator, after a career in international FMCG with Colgate Palmolive and PepsiCo. He held various senior marketing positions at Colgate Palmolive. He then joined PepsiCo Inc. and during his 14 year career was President for Pepsi Cola Japan, then President Pepsi Cola Asia Pacific, and finally President of Walker Snack Foods.

He left Telewest in 2000, following the merger with Flextech and launched a portfolio career. He was on the board of easyJet plc as Senior Independent Director from 2000 to 2005. He is also an NED on GCAP Media plc, and has added to this with roles in various private equity-backed companies, and is currently also Chairman of Plastic Logic Ltd.

Phill Robinson - Chief Executive Officer

Phill was appointed CEO at Velocix in July 2007. He joined the company from Salesforce.com where he held the position of Chief Operating Officer - Sales & Distribution. His responsibilities included executive management and execution of the company's sales and distribution strategy around the globe. Previously as the companies Chief Marketing Officer, and based in San Francisco, Phill was responsible for development and implementation of Salesforce.com's global marketing strategy.

Before to joining salesforce.com in 2003, Phill was Vice President of International Marketing & Alliances at Siebel Systems having joined in 1996 as one of the founders of the company's European business, and a member of Tom Siebel's "Founders Circle". Prior to this, Phill held key leadership and product strategy roles at both Sybase and Oracle, in the UK and Silicon Valley.

Phill has a BSc in Computer Science from Coventry University.

John Lee - Chief Financial Officer

John joined Velocix in April 2008 as Chief Financial Officer and brings with him, over 25 years of senior financial and general management experience, initially gained in multinational businesses and particularly in high-growth technology businesses.

John's experience includes building a number of technology based start-ups into successful businesses, raising significant amounts of venture capital funding and in the process creating substantial shareholder value.

John joins Velocix from Cambridge Semiconductor where he held the position of CFO and Director for the company.

Adam Twiss - Chief Technology Officer and co-founder

Adam is an astute businessman and product innovator. Prior to Velocix, Adam co-founded and was CEO of Zeus Technology, a Cambridge based Internet software company which started life in a student college room and grew to be a global organization employing 120 people being cited by Red Herring as one of the top 50 private companies in the world (May 2000).

Adam holds a Masters degree (double first) in Computer Science from Cambridge University. Adam also sits on the board of the Cambridge Network

Bryan Amesbury - Chief Customer Officer and co-founder

Bryan has over 10 years experience in early stage businesses having overseen eight funding-rounds across multiple companies raising in excess of $40 million from investors including Amadeus Capital Partners, 3i Group plc, Cazenove Private Equity, UBS Warburg and Sumitomo Corporation.

Bryan was formerly at Zeus Technology where, in addition to his responsibilities as CFO and Company Secretary, he oversaw the expansion of the company from 3 people to over 120 in multiple geographies and established Zeus' US operations.

Bryan has a degree in Economics from the University of Birmingham.

John Dillon - Chief Marketing Officer

John joined Velocix in July 2007 as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Previously he served at Internet security firm, SurfControl where he also held the position of CMO, responsible for the company's global field marketing, corporate communications, product marketing and product management efforts.

Prior to SurfControl, John was VP EMEA Marketing at Business Integration supplier webMethods. Before joining webMethods, John held marketing and technology leadership roles at mobile content delivery enabler, Volantis, B2B integration provider, Extricity, IBM and Hewlett-Packard.

John has a B.Sc. Computer Science from Brunel University.

Simon Keen - SVP Products

Simon joined Velocix in March 2008 and has overall responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of the Velocix product line.

Simon is a technologist with more than 25 years experience specialising in advanced software systems. Prior to joining Velocix, he was European Technical Director of StreamBase Systems, a company specialising in high-performance Complex Event Processing. Simon has also held technical leadership roles at AssetHouse Technologies, Cambridge Technology Partners, Netscape, Informix and Sybase.

Simon has a Computer Science degree from the University of Hertfordshire.

Richard Timperlake - VP of Worldwide Sales

Richard joined Velocix as VP of Worldwide Sales in March 2008. Previously, he was with Enterprise Intelligence solutions provider SAS, where he served as UK Sales Director. Having joined SAS in 2005, Richard grew revenues by over 45% and completed a major sales reorganisation, rebuilding the sales, pre-sales and sales management teams.

Prior to SAS, Richard held senior sales leadership roles at at Siebel Systems which he joined in 1998 and Hewlett-Packard where he served for the first nine years of his professional career.

Richard is a graduate of Bristol Business School.

Jonathan Anstey - VP Worldwide Strategic Accounts

Jonathan brings over 20 years of highly successful enterprise sales experience working for industry leading technology vendors and is responsible for world wide strategic accounts sales strategy and execution.

Prior to joining Velocix, Jonathan was VP Worldwide Sales at Tribold Ltd where he was instrumental in securing institutional VC funding, closing TriboldŐs first multi million contract and the significant development of the business pipeline and sales organisation.

Jonathan held senior sales positions for over 8 years at Siebel Systems, twice being awarded salesperson of year. Jonathan has also held senior sales positions at Software AG, Walker International and Memorex Telex.

Richard Gibbs - VP Worldwide Technical Consulting

Richard joined Velocix from Tribold where he held the role of VP World Wide Sales Consulting. In this role he helped deliver initial key customer accounts and support the development of Tribold's new product portfolio management software. Prior to Tribold, Richard held the role of Chief Technology Officer, EMEA for Epiphany.

Previously, Richard has also held various senior managerial roles at Siebel Systems and other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution providers.

Bob Lindsey - VP Operations

Bob has a long and successful track record in senior operations roles and brings tremendous experience in infrastructure and customer service to Velocix.

Prior to joining Velocix, Bob was CTO and VP Global Operations at Madge, Managing Director at Ionica, and Engineering & Operations Director at Cognito.

Bob has a first class B.Sc (hons) in Computer and Communication Engineering from Essex University.
