The race is on to deliver instant gratification to the growing mass of consumers embracing the Digital Lifestyle. At stake is nearly $200 billion of PayTV service revenues and the future business models of broadband network operators of all access modalities. Consumers are demanding more than linear programming and on more devices than the TV set.
