Velocix Appliances

Velocix appliances are the building blocks used to construct the required delivery network. The Velocix Digital Media Delivery Platform is made up of three node types: Storage Nodes, Delivery Nodes and Service Nodes. Each of these nodes are deployed at Physical Points of Presence (PoPs) and are constructed by combining Velocix Appliances. The conceptual architecture is illustrated in the diagram below:

Digital Media Delivery Platform

Velocix appliances come preloaded with Velocix software applications and are pre-configured by Velocix to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process.

Velocix Publishing Appliance
