As Velocix's Head of Engineering, Vaquas is committed to fostering a culture of excellence and customer-centric innovation. Prior to joining Velocix, he held the prestigious position of R&D Director at Syniverse, where he led transformative initiatives in the realms of digital transformation and cloud technologies to support 5G roaming. His focus is on ensuring that Velocix's products not only meet high-quality standards but also adapt effectively to meet customer needs. Vaquas's practical approach emphasizes the importance of well-structured processes and best practices to deliver top-tier products and contribute to Velocix's ongoing success. Vaquas is based in Bangalore, India.

As Finance Director, James’s role is to oversee the financial health of Velocix, as well as ensuring the financial planning that enables operational strategic success.
James is a finance and business professional with over 20 years of experience within global technology companies, and prior to Velocix held a variety of CFO/FD roles over the last 10+ years in Private-owned, Listed and Private Equity owned software organisations. James is based in the UK.

Gabriel leads sales and technical sales activities for Velocix in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. He is focused on expanding business with existing customers, as well as positioning Velocix as a key technology supplier in the video delivery market. Since joining Velocix, Gabriel has held senior level roles in sales and business development, leading several top-tier customer relationships. He has 20 years of knowledge and experience in the telecommunications industry, having worked at Siemens, Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia. Gabriel is based in Lisbon, Portugal.

Angela leads account and territory sales efforts for Velocix across the Americas. She focuses on expanding relationships within complex accounts and strengthening Velocix’s position as a key solutions partner in the video delivery ecosystem. Prior to joining Velocix, Angela served as a Senior Enterprise Account Manager at Fastly, where she supported customers leveraging cloud and edge CDN platforms. She previously held senior roles at Concentrix, managing strategic accounts and driving major customer programs. Angela holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Marquette University and is based in Arvada, Colorado. 

Marco is responsible for Product Development and Innovation. With a problem-solving mindset and hands-on attitude, he is committed to develop high-performance teams that deliver best in class products. Marco has more than 20 years of experience in the telecoms industry working in Optical, Mobile, Routing and Video technologies. Before joining Velocix, he held senior roles at Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia. Marco is based in Sintra, Portugal.

Pedro leads Professional Services at Velocix, bringing over 25 years of experience in the TV, media, and telecommunications sectors. He is passionate about delivering innovative, customer-driven solutions and believes that strong relationships and clear communication are at the heart of every successful project. Before joining Velocix, Pedro held leadership roles at NOS in Portugal, where he headed OTT and Media Services and contributed to several cutting-edge initiatives.

Pedro leads Maintenance and Managed Services globally for Velocix. With a focus on customer success and a problem-solving mindset, he builds strong, trusting client relationships. He believes fully understanding customers and their solutions is fundamental in providing best-in-class service. Pedro has over 30 years of experience in the telecoms industry across Engineering, Networking, Consulting, IT, Customer Success and Software Development. Before Velocix, he held senior roles at Oni, Zapp, Link Consulting, Critical Software, OutSystems and Go4Mobility. Pedro is based in Sintra, Portugal.

Liz leads the Marketing team at Velocix, driving the company’s brand and growth strategy. She brings extensive experience across global and regional marketing roles, most recently leading go-to-market strategy for strategic technology alliances, including Ericsson and ServiceNow. Liz has also worked closely with Tier 1 service providers such as Vodafone, BT, and Liberty Global through ABM and field marketing programmes. She is passionate about building strong cross-functional teams, creating impactful campaigns, and turning strategy into results.
